Councilman
Waldrop has represented his district since 1986. He is a graduate of
Newberry High School and attended North Greenville College. He also
served his country in the Army National Guard for 6 years. Councilman
Waldrop is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He is a
member of the South Carolina Farm Bureau. Mr. Waldrop currently
serves as an alternate member of the Soil & Water Conservation
District, the Treasurer of the Newberry County Governmental
Association, a Mason and a member of Hejaz Shrine Temple. He is a
retired dairy farmer. Mr. Waldrop has been married for 43 years to
the former Diane Dollar, and they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
