PLEASE REMEMBER:

THE MAJORITY OF THESE ANIMALS ARE STRAYS THAT WERE RESCUED, OR IN SOME CASES, THESE ANIMALS WERE JUST UNWANTED. NEWBERRY COUNTY ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL CANNOT GUARANTEE THE HEALTH OR TEMPERAMENT OF THESE ANIMALS DUE TO THE LIMITED BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE OF THEM. WHEN AN ANIMAL IS ADOPTED, IT IS DONE SO "AS IS."

Adoption fees:

All dogs and puppies are $85. This fee includes the spay or neuter, DHPP, Rabies, and Kennel Cough vaccination, heartworm test in adult dogs, deworming for hookworms, whipworms, roundworms, and tapeworms, and microchipping and registration with a Home Again microchip. All cats and kittens are $65, and this fee includes the spay or neuter, feline leukemia test, RCP-Felv vaccination, and deworming for hookworms, whipworms, roundworms, and tapeworms. Please note that this cost is not a purchase price for the animal, but to reimburse the County of Newberry for its cost of the health care for the animal.

PUPPIES!!!!!!

These little guys are hound mix babies about twelve weeks old. There are two females and one male (a little camera shy), one female is tri colored and the other two brindle and white.

"Bailey"

Bailey is approximately one and half years old. She is great with other dogs, NO CATS PLEASE!!!! She is however, quite the escape artists from kennels so she will need lots of love and affection.

"Jarrett" aka "Little Man"

This little guy is a sweet, sweet dog! He will have to go to a home where he will be indoors and have plenty of loving attention. He is about 9 months old. He is a jrt mix. He is used to sleeping in the bed with his owner. "Jarrett" aka "Little Man" is in desperate need of a home!

"Zachary"

"Zachary" is a neutered male black and tan twelve year old poodle mix that is in desperate need of a retirement home. He has flea allergies and needs some good food and lots of love but is a sweet boy! He is working on his housebreaking and likes to sleep in the bed.

"Molly"

"Molly" is a two year old female black and white border collie mix. She is a quiet girl that is somewhat leash trained and gets along well with kids and other animals.

"Molly"

"Molly" is a three year old spayed female black and tan shepherd mix. She is leash trained and gets along well with kids and other animals. She is a sweet girl that wants lots of attention.

"Abby"

"Uno"

"Abby" is a chow collie mix. She does well on a leash and loves to run and play. She gets along well with other animals and people. She is a reddish brown color with dark brown ears. She is about 1 year old.

"Uno" is possibly a lab mixed with boxer. He is good on a leash. He has not shown any signs of aggression towards other dogs and is good with cats and children.

"General"

"Froto"

"General" is a DSH gray, very loving cat. He is trained to a litter box. He would need to be an inside cat because he is declawed on the front. "General" would be a good companion to another cat.

"Froto" is a shepherd mix. He is about 2 years old. When he was picked up, he had a badly injured eye and it had to be removed. He is fully recovered now and is ready for a home.

"Calista"

"Calista" is a chihuahua mix. She is about 2 years old. She is not good on a leash yet, but is willing to learn and very sweet.

"Phantom"

"Phantom" is possibly a lab catahula mix. He is very strong on a leash and still needs a little work with the leash. He is quite friendly and still very playful. "Phantom" is about 1 year old.

"Sonya" is a beautiful cat! She is about a year old. She gets along well with other cats and she is litter box trained.

"DJ" is a 2 year old retriever blood hound mix. He has already been neutered. He is kind of shy and is not used to a leash yet, but is very friendly.

"Cassey"

"Cookie"

"Cassey" is a female german shepherd. She is about 1 and a half year old. She is good on a leash and is not aggressive towards children or other dogs. However, "Cassey" is very cat aggressive. She does know a few commands.

"Cookie" is a dsh. He is 5 years old. He does not get along well with other cats when in a confined area. He is litter box trained and very loving

"Maximus"

"Carlos"

"Maximus" is a shepherd hound mix. He is about 2 years old. He is great on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, and is child friendly.

"Carlos" is a male boxer mix. He is great on a leash and he gets along well with other dogs.....however, he does not like chickens! "Carlos" is about 1 year old.

"Salvador"

"Salvador" is a 1 year old rotti mix. He is great on a leash and good around other animals except for chickens. He is not aggressive towards people and he plays well with children.

"Sheldon"

"Asher"

"Sheldon" is a spitz mix. He weighs about 20 pounds and is approximately 4 and a half years old. "Sheldon" plays well with other dogs and has not shown any signs of aggression towards people. He is heartworm positive and is currently in foster care until treatment.

"Asher" is a boxer pit mix?? She is brindle with some white on her chest. "Asher" is about 6 months old. She gets along well with other dogs, but is not yet leash broke.

"Alvis"

"Alvis" is "Asher's" brother. He has the same kind of great temperament as "Asher". He is black with some white on his chest. They are both sweet dogs and are not aggressive.

"Precious"

"Lady"

"Precious" is a seal point. She is 4 years old.....and NO, her eyes are not really red..bad flash! She is litter box trained, friendly, and gets along well with other cats.

"Lady" is about 4 months old. She is not house or leash trained. She is good with children and is not aggressive towards other animals.

"BooBoo"

This is a chihuahua doxie mix. She is about 4 years old. She is brown and dark brown. "BooBoo" does pretty good on a leash and is not aggressive.

"Margo"

"Murphy"

"Margo" is approximately 3 years old. She is a sharpei mix, white and gold. She is good on a leash, and as you can tell, she is very photogenic! She is very sweet, but is unfortunately heart worm positive.

"Murphy" is an 18 week old sharpei mix. He is solid black. He will need leash training. So, so sweet!!!

"Mallory"

"Angus"

"Mallory" is an 18 week old sharpei mix. She is the sister of "Murphy" She is solid white with golden outlines on her ears. How beautiful!!

"Angus" is a rotti mix. He is 8 months old and is great on a leash. He plays well with other dogs and is not aggressive.

These guys are about 8 weeks old. They appear to be a mixture of rotti, lab, and chow. They are very playful. There are 4 females and only 1 male.

How CUTE! These pups are also about 8 weeks old. They are boxer retriever mixes. There are 2 females and 2 males. They are sweet and loveable

These guys are lab rotti mixes. They are about 8 weeks old. There are 2 females and only 1 male left. There are 2 black and brown and one black.

"Frenchie" is a 1 year old australian shepherd. She is mostly white with grey and brown markings. "Frenchie" is good on a leash and not aggressive towards people or other animals. She also has a great personality.

"Mike"

"Mike" & "Ike" are about 1 year old rotties. They are both gentle and leash broken. They do not seem to have any aggression issues. Both are well mannered.

"Layla & Lonnie"

These pups are about 3 month old hound mixes. They are white with chocolate brown spots. There is 1 male and 1 female. Sweet, sweet, sweet!!!

These puppies are also 3 month old hound mixes. They are all female. One is brown with a black muzzle, one is a solid lighter brown, and the other is blonde and cream in color.

"Sky"

"Sky" is a chow mix. He is about 5 and a half years old. He is very sweet and leash broken.

These babies are 8 week old lab collie mixes. They are all black and white. There are 2 females and 2 males. They are so very sweet!!

"Sweet Pea" is a chihuahua jrt mix. She is about 1 1/2 year old. She is shy towards strangers at first, but warms up quickly to a gentle person. She is white wtih caramel color markings. She is housebroken.

"Frisky"is a grey and black tabby. His markings are very dark. He is about 1 year old. "Frisky" is litter box trained but does enjoy being outside. He gets along well with other cats too!!

"Beagle Mixes"This girl is just one of the four that we have. They are all females. All of them are tri colored and approximately 9 months old.

"Charlotte"is a solid black lab. She has had a few litter of pups. She is about 3 years old. She gets along well with other dogs and is people friendly.

"Zeb" is a shihtzu mix. He is very sweet and loving. He does not seem to have any aggression issues towards people or other animals. "Zeb" is about 2 years old and loves to sit in your lap!

"Lucy" is a 4 month old chihuahua mix. She is golden brown with a long white blaze onher chest. She is very friendly and child oriented. Very, very sweet!!
