BOARD OF RURAL FIRE CONTROL
The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Rural Fire
Control was held at
The following members were present: Andy Ackerman, Larry Koon, Carol Thomas, Donald Wicker, Lewis Lee, Bob Snelgrove and Bobby Pollard.
Also present Chief Aubrey Horne (Station 11- St. Philips), Keith Minick (Newberry City Fire).
Vice-Chairman Ackerman called the meeting to order.
The Minutes of the March, 2004 meeting was reviewed and accepted.
Councilmen John Dawkins
The Agenda was adopted as presented.
Old Business:
Old E-60 still has an air leak. M&M put a part on it and it is still not working.
New Business:
Member Koon stated that the Fire Reports needed to be updated. The Board tabled this discussion until next meeting.
Need Safety Data Sheets for the foam that was purchased. Need to call Gordon Leslie for the sheets.
ISO: No one present.
Building and Maintenance: Nothing to report.
Communications: Nothing to report.
Truck and Equipment: Do not have all trucks turned in. Only have Lt. Mountain and St. Philips water trucks.
Training Ground: Nothing to report.
A motion was made, seconded and passed to enter into Executive Session for consideration of personnel matters.
Applications for membership were discussed.
Member Koon made a motion to come out of Executive Session. Member Snelgrove seconded. The motion passed with all in favor.
Chairman was not present.
Regular Board meeting:
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
Vice-Chairman Ackerman declared the meeting adjourned.
